How we put this together: We read Copy.ai's and each alternative's official pricing pages and documentation on 7 October 2026. Copy.ai's acquisition by Fullcast is confirmed on copy.ai. We haven't run paid trials of these tools for this article.

Copy.ai made its name as an AI copywriting tool. It’s now something else. Copy.ai has been acquired by Fullcast, a revenue-operations company, and positions itself as a go-to-market AI platform. It automates prospecting, account-based marketing and other sales and marketing workflows.

What that means in practice (pricing checked 7 October 2026):

  • The Chat plan is still affordable: $29/month, or $24 billed annually, for five seats with unlimited chat words.
  • Workflows, the product’s centre of gravity, start at the Growth plan: $1,000/month, billed annually.
  • Brand voice still exists. You paste examples, Copy.ai analyses them, and you can keep separate voices per author or audience. The current pricing page doesn’t state voice limits per plan.

If you came to Copy.ai for on-brand writing rather than sales automation, these alternatives are a closer fit.

The alternatives

1. Parlance: for leaders’ voices and regulated communication

Parlance learns from your previous writing, strategy documents and published content. It then turns one brief into a LinkedIn post, blog post, email and press release in your voice, with house rules designed to catch things like stock-promotion phrasing before a draft reaches you.

Self-service is $499/month, or managed is $1,999/month. It’s invite-only for now. It’s built for executives and investor-relations and communications teams, not bulk copy.

Disclaimer: we own Parlance (which is how we know it’s good).

2. Jasper: the closest all-round replacement

Jasper builds voices from up to eight samples (text, documents or URLs) and applies them across chat, documents and 100+ marketing agents. Pro is $69/month ($59 annual) for one seat and two voices. Style rules and the API are on Business.

3. Semrush Content Toolkit: SEO content on a budget

For $60/month you get up to 50 brand voices, Semrush’s topic and keyword data, and WordPress export. A good fit if your Copy.ai use was mostly blog content.

4. Writesonic: content plus AI-search tracking

Writesonic now leads with AI-search visibility and bundles articles and audits. One voice on Starter ($99/month, or $79 annual) and five on Basic ($249).

5. Anyword: if you used Copy.ai for ads and email

Anyword focuses on short-form performance copy. Brand rules (including banned terms that stop generation), audiences and a messaging bank are the core. Higher tiers add performance prediction. Starter is $49/month ($39 annual).

6. WRITER: for enterprise governance

Voice profiles from your best content, tied to terms lists and style guides, with department-level voices on Enterprise. The Starter price isn’t published. There’s a 14-day trial.

7. Rytr: the cheapest working option

One custom voice for $9/month, and a free plan without it. Fine for freelancers and small sites.

8. Claude or ChatGPT: build your own

For about $20/month per person, a project with your samples and style guide covers a lot of what Copy.ai’s Chat plan did. ChatGPT Business and Claude Team both start at about $25/seat monthly for shared projects.
