Endless Data Review 2026: How Its Pooled Data Licensing Works
Endless Data (Seldon Ventures) pools company data for AI buyers: what it takes, its exclusions, fixed payment and buyer terms, checked October 21, 2026
Endless Data, run by Seldon Ventures, L.L.C., pools operational records from many companies and licenses them non-exclusively to several AI buyers. It says personal and client identifiers are stripped before anything leaves your company, and it never licenses customer, employee or client personal data, health information, client books or pricing logic. Sellers get a fixed sum agreed upfront.

Endless Data’s headline is “Get up to $4M for your company’s operational data.” Its model differs from direct buyers: it says AI labs don’t license from individual companies, so it brings many companies’ data together and takes it to several buyers at once. The homepage asks visitors to “Book a call or reply to our email,” which suggests it contacts companies by email first. Searches for “endless data” mostly return unrelated results.
What Endless Data takes
Endless Data’s homepage describes scope by industry rather than by software system. A data manifest, written after a first call, names the systems, years, workflows and exclusions for each seller.
| Industry listed | What Endless says is excluded |
|---|---|
| Logistics and freight | Pricing logic |
| Property management | Not listed beyond the general exclusions |
| Insurance agencies | Not listed beyond the general exclusions |
| Law firms | Client matter content |
| Accounting firms | Client books |
| Recruiting | Not listed beyond the general exclusions |
| Healthcare operations | Protected health information |
| IT services and MSPs | Client environment details and credentials |
| BPO | Not listed beyond the general exclusions |
| Consulting | Client-confidential findings and client names |
The general “never licensed” list applies to every seller: customer, employee and client personal data; protected health information; privileged client matter content; client books; and proprietary pricing logic. Specific systems (Slack, email, CRM, ticketing) aren’t named on the homepage, so the manifest is where they get fixed.
How the data gets out of your systems
Endless publishes a four-step process. Its extraction method isn’t described, but it commits to stripping identifiers before data leaves your company.
- A 20-minute call. Systems, years of history and what’s off-limits.
- A data manifest. Endless writes up the systems, years, workflows in scope and exclusions, and you approve it.
- A fixed payment. You agree a fixed sum with Endless before anything is shared.
- Sign, prepare, transfer, get paid. Endless prepares and transfers the data, pays you, then licenses it on to buyers.
Endless’s licence commitments include reviewing representative samples, defining your own exclusions, and audit rights. Its page doesn’t say whether its staff or tools work inside your systems to do the stripping, or what software it uses. The manifest step suits ops teams: it’s a written scope document you can check every export against.
Privacy and security controls
These are Endless Data’s own licence commitments from its homepage, read October 21, 2026.
| Control | What Endless says | Ask for in writing |
|---|---|---|
| De-identification | Personal and client identifiers stripped before anything leaves your company | The method, who runs it and on what infrastructure |
| Exclusions | You define them; fixed “never licensed” list | The manifest itself, signed |
| Sample review | You review representative samples | Sign-off before transfer, not just before use |
| Audit | Audit rights | Scope and frequency of audits, including over downstream buyers |
| Ownership | You keep ownership | The seller-side licence text |
| Retention and deletion | Deletion at the end of the agreed term | Deletion certificate, including copies held by downstream buyers |
| Downstream buyers | “AI labs such as micro1, Mercor and Handshake” | A full list of buyers your data is placed with |
| Security certifications | Not published | A SOC 2 report or equivalent |
| Seller licence terms | Not published | The full seller agreement before the manifest is finalized |
Endless Data’s published Terms and Conditions page is written for data buyers licensing its data products, not for sellers. Under those terms, buyers can keep using AI models trained during the licence term after the licence ends and the data is deleted, and buyer fees are due within 30 days of invoice. So “deletion at the end of the agreed term” removes the data, not what was trained on it.
Commercial terms in brief
Read October 21, 2026.
| Term | What Endless says |
|---|---|
| Stated pay | “Up to $4M”; no typical range; on-page estimate needs a work email |
| Structure | A fixed payment agreed with Endless before anything is shared |
| Payment timing | Not published beyond “sign, prepare, transfer, get paid” |
| Exclusivity | Non-exclusive: “You can license the same data to anyone else” |
| Fee to seller | None; “No commission on your side, nothing deducted later”; Endless is paid by buyers |
| Eligibility | Roughly 30+ employees, several years of history, English documentation; US, UK and Canada prioritized |
We couldn’t confirm Endless Data’s founders, funding, completed deals, payment timing after signing, or buyers beyond the three it names. Ask for evidence of completed deals before your team starts an export.
What data you can and can’t license
Endless’s exclusion list is one of the more specific published, and it lines up with the general rules. For an MSP or agency, client environment details, credentials and client-confidential findings are out by Endless’s own terms.
| Usually firm-owned and licensable once scrubbed | Usually not yours to license, or high risk |
|---|---|
| Internal runbooks, SOPs and onboarding checklists | Client environment details, credentials and client names |
| Your own ticket and incident history, client identifiers stripped | Client books, client financial records and privileged matter content |
| Internal process docs and training material | Customer, employee and client personal data |
| Your own sales and CRM process records, contacts stripped | Proprietary pricing logic |
| Internal chat about how work is done, de-identified | Health information and call recordings |
General rules sit behind the right-hand column. CCPA/CPRA has covered employee and B2B contact data since January 1, 2023, and GDPR covers EU and UK people. NLRA Section 7 protects employee discussions of pay and conditions. Slack’s API terms (August 2025) bar bulk export and LLM training via the API, per Hunton, and Google Workspace API policies restrict training non-personalized models.
Risks for the ops team
- Two-step chain. Endless licenses on to micro1, Mercor and Handshake, which supply AI labs. Your data may sit two parties away from you. See the micro1 data partnership review for one of those programs’ published controls.
- Trained models persist. Endless’s buyer terms let buyers keep models trained during the term.
- Unpublished seller terms. The seller licence isn’t on the site, so the controls above are commitments on a web page until you see the contract.
- Unknown counterparty history. We couldn’t confirm founders, funding or completed deals. SimpleClosure’s October 1, 2026 blog suggests checking a buyer’s history, completed deals and who funds the purchase.
- Payment timing. Not published after signing.
- Email-first outreach. If the first contact is an email, verify the sender’s domain and the company before sharing any data. Business Insider (October 13, 2026) reported that 48-hour “exploding offers” are common across this market; it didn’t attribute them to Endless.
Pre-export checklist
- Request the seller-side licence agreement before the first call ends.
- Draft your own exclusions list (client environments, credentials, HR, health data) before Endless writes the manifest.
- Check the manifest names every system, year range and excluded record type.
- Ask who strips identifiers, with what tooling, and whether anyone accesses your systems.
- Review representative samples before transfer and keep a copy of what you approved.
- Get the full list of downstream buyers and their deletion obligations in writing.
- Confirm the payment date relative to signing and transfer.
- Check your export method against Slack and Google Workspace terms.

FAQ
- What is Endless Data?
- Endless Data is the trading name of Seldon Ventures, L.L.C., a Delaware LLC. It pools operational data from many companies, prepares it and licenses it to several AI buyers at once. It pays sellers a fixed sum agreed before anything is shared and says its licence is non-exclusive. We couldn't confirm its founders, funding or completed deals.
- Who buys company data for AI training?
- Endless Data names "AI labs such as micro1, Mercor and Handshake" as its buyers. Those three are AI training-data companies that supply labs, rather than frontier labs themselves, so data licensed through Endless may pass through a second intermediary. Other programs that buy or license company data include Scale AI, Labelbox Prism, Polyshares, Troveo and SimpleClosure AssetHub.
- How much is my company data worth?
- Endless Data advertises "up to $4M" but publishes no typical range, and its on-page estimate needs a work email. Other published figures range from about $25,000 for one closed startup's code base to $110,000 to $450,000 in Polyshares' case studies. Buyers' advertised ranges run from $10K to $4M+ as of October 21, 2026.
- Can I get paid for training AI?
- Companies can, by licensing operational records to AI buyers through programs like Endless Data. Endless says it pays a fixed sum agreed before anything is shared, with no commission on the seller's side. Eligibility is roughly 30 or more employees, several years of history and English documentation, with the US, UK and Canada prioritized.
